Subject "Technical Biology" for Master Biology students
We offer Master's biology students a complete course in the summer semester:
You complete the eight-week project internship "Intensification of Bioprocesses" (2212053), attend the lecture "Intensification of Bioprocesses" (2212051) and complete a one-week laboratory internship also entitled "Intensification of Bioprocesses" (2212052).
You will start with the project internship. You can register for this in the Campus Management System under no. 7212052-PP-BIO.
The lecture Intensification of Bioprocesses takes place weekly on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the HS Mechanical Engineering in Building 10.91. You can register for this in the corresponding ILIAS course of our faculty. You will receive the password at the first lecture.
The new date for the laboratory internship in SS 2026 will be announced shortly. The places for the internship will be allocated via "Sign Me Up". You can find more information there and in the associated ILIAS course.
Subsequently, the groups will be assigned in the ILIAS course itself. When registering in ILIAS, please indicate which of the two weeks would be your preferred week, although we cannot guarantee that you will get it.
You will receive a total of 23 credit points for the longitudinal subject.
You can find more information on the individual modules we offer here or on the Biology homepage.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Holtmann is responsible for the longitudinal subject.
Responsible for the laboratory practical course is Dr. Anke Neumann
